Mojo SE

Formerly the Sylva Mojo, the Mojo is now produced by Meggt.

Introduced in 1999 as an alternative to the many Seven style kits, the Mojo’s unique styling, and mid engine configuration broke the mould giving owners an affordable alternative that stood out from the crowd.

Much praise has been bestowed upon the Mojo over the years by the motoring press for its ease of build, performance, ride qualities, traction and road manners. The latest incarnation has a longer wheelbase and benefits from a revised front suspension layout. This incorporates inboard front shock absorbers providing enhanced steering response and a more streamlined look at the front.

The lightweight Ford Zetec SE engine as found in Fiesta, Puma and Focus models provides the power source. The Zetec SE is available in three capacities 1250, 1400 and 1600, the latter capable of producing 150 bhp with only minor modifications.  Even in standard form the 1600 yields 130 bhp and with only 500 kg to haul around, performance is impressive. The original fuel injection is retained and when coupled with our integral catalyst silencer will produce the same emissions as the Ford from which it was taken.

Revised rear bodywork to incorporate the longer wheelbase, creates a stylish rear aspect. Some 40kg lighter than the earlier versions and benefiting from a revised suspension package, the Mojo has all the characteristics of a Jeremy Phillips design.
